Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Trauma ICU (1 year of experience)
• Trauma ICU experience within the last year
• Neuro ICU experience
• Experience with Cerner
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course or TCAR - Trauma Care After Resuscitation

Required certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH Stroke Certification
• TNCC or TCAR
• COVID vaccination

Key job expectations

• Accurate charting and assessments are critical
• The unit performs extensive chart audits
• Must be able to manage ICU-level trauma and neuro patients

Pre-start requirements

• Review and complete required RN onboarding, policies, competency validation, and training materials before start
• Complete required health screening, immunization, drug testing, background screening, and reference checks before start
• Complete annual compliance items as assigned
