Registered Nurse BMT/Oncology

Assignment Details

Travel/contract role in Aurora, Colorado
13-week contract
Rotating schedule
3x12 shifts: 7:00–19:00 and 19:00–7:00
Weekend coverage required per unit needs
On-call not required
Floating required between BMT/Onc and CTU units
May also float to sister facilities in the metro region based on facility needs
36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Bone Marrow Transplant experience
Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year
Experience in an acute care setting
Chemotherapy administration experience
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
ONS/ONCC

Unit Overview

51-bed unit
Cares for patients with blood cancers receiving chemo/biotherapies and cellular therapies, including stem cell transplants and CAR-T
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 3–4:1 and may flex based on staffing and unit needs
Candidates should be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
