Job Description
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Room settings
- First-time travelers are allowed
- Weekends are required
Required Certifications and Licenses
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- Other certifications may be required based on clinical track but not mandatory for this role
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
- Experience working with adult patients in an acute care setting
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Adult Critical Care
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Room (ER)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Must pass a comprehensive background check including SSN trace, death master index, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, education verification, and motor vehicle record if applicable
- State-specific searches required for Washington placements
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment with explanations for any gaps or overlaps
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty or setting
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- Photo for badge with neutral background required prior to start
Additional Information
- Float policy acknowledgment required; may be asked to float to other nearby facilities
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency may be required as applicable
- Color blindness testing may be required on a unit-by-unit basis if requested
- Epic training modules may be required depending on facility assignment
