CT Tech - Travel/Contract

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 4 days a week (10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
  • Rotating weekends required
  • Call requirement: 2 to 3 shifts per 4-week schedule
  • No float requirement
  • Scrubs color: Black
  • Maximum 5 days return to office (RTO)

Required Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
  • Epic electronic health record experience required
  • Experience with Phillips imaging equipment (hard stop) required
  • Preferred experience in a teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma center environment

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • Current ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification recommended (per critical care areas noted)
  • Must have an unexpired government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license or state ID)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

  • Background checks required within one year of start, including:
    • SSN Trace
    • 7-year county residency check
    • Nationwide search
    • Sex offender registry check
    • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire
  • TB questionnaire required; follow state-level TB testing requirements
  • MMR and Varicella attestations required
  • Pending drug screen attestation required
  • Passport-style photo with solid background required for badge
  • Physical exam, drug testing, and certain immunizations not required but may require attestation
  • References may be requested per travel agency standards
