Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist proficient in both CT and X-ray with Epic experience for an evening shift contract position.

Details

• Work in a CT/Radiology department performing both CT and X-ray duties
• Must be proficient in all angio CT procedures
• Uses GE equipment for CT and X-ray
• Epic EMR — experience required
• 5x8 hour evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• On-call required in rotation with other staff
• Holiday coverage required in rotation with other staff

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Proficiency with GE CT and X-ray equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be comfortable working independently and prioritizing cases
• LA state license required if applicable
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging and X-ray procedures, including advanced angio CT studies
• Must be able to work independently and triage cases by order of importance
• Hunter green scrubs required
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this position
