Work Schedule

• 5 days of 8-hour shifts plus 4 days of 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM start times)
• Every third weekend rotation required
• No on-call duties

Job Description

• Work in a fast-paced department performing general diagnostic exams for Emergency Department and inpatient units
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Surgery experience preferred
• No floating to other facilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Current Michigan state license required (must be verified within 30 days of start)
• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or RQI certification accepted
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) certification
• X-Ray Technician experience

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Valid Driver’s License/State ID (must be current and renewed if expiring during assignment)
• Social Security Card
• E-Verify compliance
• Background check within 30 days of assignment start, including:

  • 7-year Social Security Number Trace
  • National Criminal History Search (7 years)
  • National Sex Offender Database Search
  • FACIS Level 3 Search
  • Education verification
• High school diploma, GED, or official transcripts verification (except RNs)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start (must note latex sensitivity)
• N95 Fit Test record within 12 months of start and updated annually (specific mask types required)
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination
  • Negative 2-step TB test or QuantiFERON Gold within 2 months of start (or chest x-ray if positive)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella immunity (2 MMR vaccines or titers)
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella immunity (2 vaccines or titers) or declination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (required during flu season)
• 10-panel drug screen with THC within 30 days of start (medical marijuana cards or dilute screens not accepted)
• Facility-specific documents and modules to be completed prior to or at orientation
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgment required

• Two professional references from previous employers
• Current resume including 7-year work history
• Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• No pending state license accepted
• Locals accepted within defined radius
