Job Opportunity: Outpatient Clinic Infusion Registered Nurse

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Day (4x10 hours), 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Patient Load: Approximately 32 visits per day
• Rooms/Beds: 3 rooms / 6 beds
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, potential weekend coverage
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• First Time Traveler: Yes, if outpatient infusion experience is present
• License: California RN license required (pending license not accepted)
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 7 days

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 1 year of infusion nursing experience, with infusion experience within the last year
• Experience in an outpatient setting
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
• Certification or proficiency in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Requirements

• Employment Application: Must include at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format; 7 years for APN/Subcontractors
• Skills Checklist: Required annually for applicable units
• Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency and other exams as applicable by specialty
• Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
• Float Policy: Acknowledgement required; may be required to float to other nearby facilities

• Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.
• Background checks with open/active felony cases or more than one DUI will result in cancellation.
• Candidates with international nursing education must provide appropriate credential verification.
• Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules are required and assigned via LMS.
• Return candidates with less than 90 days gap may have some requirements waived or extended.

This position offers a structured 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule in an outpatient infusion clinic setting, requiring a California RN license and at least one year of relevant nursing experience.
