Job Opportunity: Oncology Chemo Certified Registered Nurse

Location: Porter Ranch, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse – Oncology with Chemotherapy certification
Setting: Outpatient Hematology Oncology clinic
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week) with a 30-minute lunch break
Charting System: Epic
Scrub Color: Dark Blue
Weekend Requirement: No weekends required
On-call: Not required
Floating: No floating expected, but may change based on clinic needs
First-time Travelers: Not accepted (prior travel experience required)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 2 years of Hematology/Oncology nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
Experience in an outpatient setting
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
Chemotherapy certification (CHEMO)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Harassment Prevention Training Certificate
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
