ICU Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: New Haven, Connecticut
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work schedule: 4 twelve-hour night shifts per week (48 hours/week)
- Float between two campuses within the same health system, covering 5 ICU specialties and step-down units
- Must float within scope to meet facility needs, including pulmonary step-down unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Guaranteed hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, with ICU experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications required:
- ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
