Registered Nurse (MS/Tele) - Travel/Contract

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work primarily on Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with potential float to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/Stepdown) as needed, within skill set.
• Must be able to interpret and sign off telemetry strips.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Locals are accepted for this travel contract position.
• Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests required as applicable.
• Color blindness testing required only if working in dialysis/kidney center (not applicable here).
• Flu vaccine exemptions require completion of specific exemption forms.

Summary

This is a night shift travel Registered Nurse position on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 13-week contract. Candidates must have recent RN experience, appropriate licensure, BLS and NIHSS certifications, and be able to interpret telemetry strips. Comprehensive background checks, health screenings, and immunizations are mandatory. Two professional references are required for credentialing. The role includes floating to stepdown units as needed within the nurse’s skill set.
