Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a team nursing model (LPN + RN ratio 8:1).
Must float within scope of practice, including occasional floating to a sister facility approximately 25 minutes away.
Orientation held twice monthly; includes an open book EKG test on the first day.
Four weekend shifts required during the contract.
Full contract length commitment required.
No local candidates or first-time travelers accepted for this position.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification.
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
