Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical/Telemetry) - Long-Term Assignment

Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Description

Provide nursing care on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
Work a night shift with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Telemetry nursing experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding Documentation

Resume and skills checklist within the last year.
Two professional references.
Specialty-specific competency exam results.
All required forms and screenings must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to start.

Additional Notes

Agency will provide the skills checklist for clinical contractors.
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start.
All documentation requiring signatures or verification must be current and complete before assignment start date.

This position is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with night shifts and working in a combined Medical/Surgical and Telemetry environment, meeting comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
