Sonographer Position

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)


Schedule

  • Rotating schedule:
    • Week 1: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
    • Week 2:
      • Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
      • Thursday: 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM
      • Friday: 9:30 AM - 9:00 PM
      • Saturday: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform general sonography cases including:
    • Abdomen
    • Obstetrics/Gynecology (OBGYN)
    • Small parts
    • Abdominal vasculature
    • Lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
    • Follicular studies
  • Experience in NICU and Operating Room (OR) settings is a plus
  • Equipment used: GE Logiq E10 and E9, GE Volusons

Required Qualifications

  • Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Professional license/certification as a Sonographer, verified by primary source within 30 days of start date
  • Must meet all health and safety requirements including:
    • N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
    • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
    • Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
    • Tuberculosis (TB) test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
    • Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
  • Criminal background checks and verifications including:
    • National and Massachusetts CORI background checks within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months
    • Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
    • National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start date, updated annually
    • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days of start, updated annually
  • Submission requirements prior to consideration:
    • Resume with past 7 years of work experience including city and state
    • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
    • Skills checklist completed within 1 year
    • Candidate submission coversheet for initial assignment or new facility submission
  • Additional onboarding requirements:
    • Color photo (headshot, shoulders up, plain background, no glasses, no filters) taken within past 6 months
    • Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for any extensions
    • Education verification through background check company (highest level achieved)
    • Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documentation
