Job Opportunity: Endoscopy Technician

Location

Salem, Massachusetts

Employment Type

Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM – 3:45 PM
One rotating day shift from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Department open weekdays 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Rotating shifts required depending on hours

Unit Description

Endoscopy unit with 8 procedure rooms (3 MAC, 5 Conscious Sedation)
Includes holding and recovery rooms
On-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Patient population: All
Bed count: 18 PACU bays, 8 procedural rooms
Daily census: 60-70 procedures
Clinician to patient ratio: 1:1 in procedure rooms; 1:2/3 in PACU
Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician, with experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
