Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN OR)

Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Nights only, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (40 hours/week; options include 8x5, 4x10, or 2x8 & 2x12 shifts)
Home Unit: Operating Room
EMR System: EPIC

Job Description

Provide patient-centered nursing care in the Operating Room, including circulating and scrubbing for urgent, emergent, and STAT C-sections.
Collaborate with families and healthcare team following ANA Standards of nursing practice (assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Rhode Island.
Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience, including experience within the last year.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system.
