Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room (Weekend Evening Shift)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Evening)
Schedule: Every other weekend plus holidays

Job Description

Registered Nurse needed for Emergency Department weekend evening shifts.
Requires 2 years of acute care experience.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland.
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Ascension Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.
Ascension EKG Exam certification.
Valid Driver’s License.
Acute Care experience.

Additional Information

Onboarding includes completion of specific modules and attestations prior to clearance.
Some health and competency requirements must be updated periodically (annually or every few years).
Optional unit-specific checklist may be required by unit leadership within one week of start.
