Level III NICU Registered Nurse role in Nashville, Tennessee
13-week assignment
Shift: 06:45 - 19:15

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Therapeutic cooling/therapeutic hypothermia experience

Previous travel experience

Clinical Focus

Care for premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates
Manage infants requiring therapeutic hypothermia/cooling
Provide care for high-acuity patients needing advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support
Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen
Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), and other invasive devices
Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
Recognize and respond to neonatal deterioration and emergency situations
Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
Perform comprehensive neonatal assessments
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary NICU team
Provide education and emotional support to parents and families
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
