Role Summary

Provide nursing care in a Level III NICU for premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates, including infants needing advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Strong experience caring for high-acuity and critically ill neonates
Therapeutic cooling experience

Preferred

Previous travel experience

Clinical Focus

Advanced respiratory and hemodynamic support
Ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen
Central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), and other invasive devices
IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
Neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
Comprehensive neonatal assessments and close monitoring for changes in condition
Collaboration with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the NICU team
Parent and family education and emotional support
