Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
  • Rehabilitation experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Float / Assignment Scope

  • Floats to Med Surg
  • Required to float as a sitter
  • May float between Mares and Central Campuses
  • May float in rotation

Role Summary

  • Provides nursing care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
  • Coordinates and reassesses individualized patient care plans
  • Administers medications and performs nursing procedures and treatments
  • Documents assessments, care, interventions, and patient responses
  • Teaches patients and families health information
  • Delegates appropriately and oversees non-licensed assistive personnel
  • Collaborates with the healthcare team and supports a safe patient environment
