Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Some travel required

Role Summary

• Assists an Occupational Therapist with restorative and rehabilitative therapy services for participants at the center and at home.
• Supports treatment plans aimed at improving independence, safety, and performance in activities of daily living.
• Works with the rehabilitation team to carry out the established plan of care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in California
• Occupational Therapist Assistant experience within the last year
• 2 years of Occupational Therapist Assistant experience
• Experience working with geriatric patients
• Perceptual-motor function

• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with diverse backgrounds and cultures

Core Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs established by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist with vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing
• Document therapy interventions accurately and on time
• Train staff, participants, and caregivers on therapeutic equipment use and care
• Track equipment maintenance
• Coordinate with the rehabilitation team on participant treatment plans
• Support end-of-life care coordination under Occupational Therapist supervision
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality
• Complete required trainings, screenings, and quality improvement activities
