• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
• CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Level 1 Trauma experience
• CTICU focus experience

Role Overview

• Provides competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
• Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
• Works with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and plan patient care
• Cares for patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs
• Performs bedside point-of-care testing as required
• Supports discharge planning, communication, and unit improvement activities
