Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
CPI/HWC/MAB (Crisis Prevention Intervention / Healthcare Worker Certification / Medication Administration by RN)
AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, including experience within the last year
Experience in Women’s Services
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications issued by the American Heart Association
Current CPI or HWC or MAB certification
Current AWHONN certification
Current NRP certification
Up-to-date immunizations and testing including MMR, TDAP, Varicella, and TB testing
Professional demeanor and appearance (no casual wear; scrub color flexible)

Additional Information

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as Travel
The facility is a 137-bed acute care hospital with a broad range of specialties and certifications, including Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center accreditations
Location offers a small-town charm with access to larger metropolitan areas and recreational amenities
