Position Details

  • Employment Type: Temporary

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in District of Columbia
  • Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Certification in NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health record system

Summary

This is a temporary Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room, working 12-hour day shifts for a 12-week contract. The role requires an RN license and experience in Emergency Room nursing. The weekly commitment is 36 hours.
