Registered Nurse (ER) – Travel Opportunity in Arizona

Job Overview

• Location: Show Low, Arizona (White Mountains region)
• Department: Emergency Room (ER)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
• Facility Type: Level IV Trauma Center
• ER Capacity: 30 private rooms, including a 6-room Emergency Department Observation Unit (EDOU), 6 fast track beds, 1 seclusion room, and 5 monitored rooms
• Average Patient Volume: Approximately 100 patients per day
• Support Staff: 5 techs during peak hours
• Common Patient Types: Trauma, cardiac, neurological, and all other emergency cases
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Allscripts - Sunrise
• Medication System: Omnicell
• Scrub Policy: Any color except all black; scrubs not provided for 12-hour night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Emergency Room
• Certifications required:

  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • PALS (American Heart Association)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
