Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of floor experience or 1 year of ICU experience
Strong clinical floor skills
ICU experience is recommended
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
Active Nebraska RT license
High school diploma must be available for compliance
Trach experience

Clinical Experience

Adult ICU experience with the Servoi, ventilator extubation protocols, and ABGs
General floor therapy experience with nebulizer therapy, EzPAP, IPV, CPAP, BiPAP, Acapella, CPT, Vest therapy, ABGs, and oxygen delivery devices

Schedule

Evenings
40 hours per week
8-hour shifts
Transition to evening shifts after orientation

Assignment Details

Floating to different floors based on need
Large department with resource support available
2–3 week orientation with hospital and department training

Dress Code

Wine-colored scrubs
Logo wear required for tops and jackets

Electronic charting
EPIC computerized charting
Omnicell medication system
Pyxis supply system
Vision and V60 BiPAP machines
Focus and Synchrony CPAP/BiPAP machines
