Schedule

• Evenings, 12-hour shifts
• Start time: 6:45 AM
• Call required
• Weeknight call: 2–3 weeknights in a 6-week rotation
• Weekend call: Friday night through Monday morning
• Holiday call: On-call per rotation as needed
• Call response time: 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of OR experience

Preferred

• ACLS certification
• First-time travelers accepted if they have at least 2 years of OR experience
• Scrubbing preferred, not required

Unit Details

• Operating room with 9 suites, including 1 cardiac suite
• Average daily volume: 25–30 cases
• Common cases include ortho, ortho trauma, neuro, ortho spine, general surgery, GYN, ENT, urology, robotics, and trauma
• Charge nurse present on each shift
• OR techs available

Additional Information

• Floating not required
• Scrubs provided
• Orientation length depends on experience and ranges from 3 days to 2 weeks
