Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Jupiter, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day shift (4x10 hours), 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Responsibilities include rotating weekends, holidays, and taking call
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer
• Cardiac Sonographer experience within the last year
• ARDMS certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Compliance and Background Checks

• Standard background check including 7-year search of locations lived/worked/school
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprinting required before start; Livescan electronic fingerprinting accepted nationwide
• Fingerprint results must be dated within 30 days of start and resubmitted every 5 years

• Government-issued photo ID required
• Emergency contact form required prior to start
• Facility parking registration form must be completed
• Medication and pharmacology competency exams required as applicable
• Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for electrophysiology and cath lab techs (if applicable)
