Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Oncology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Columbia, Missouri
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week (12 hours each, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

Work primarily on Medical Surgical Oncology unit with chemotherapy certification required.
Floating to other Medical-Surgical units as needed.
Weekend shifts required: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Must work at least 50% of holidays and every other weekend (EOW).
No local candidates within 50 miles accepted.
Physically active role requiring ambulation, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs.
Exposure to patients with contagious illnesses is routine.
Facility operates 24/7; rotating shifts, holiday work, and work during inclement weather required.
Must be able to work full term of contract, assigned shifts, take call, weekends, and holidays as specified.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience, with oncology experience within the last year
Chemotherapy certification (CHEMO) required for inpatient oncology
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
