Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Elizabeth, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 40 weeks (approximately)
Schedule: 3 days per week
Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Average Caseload: 40 patients
Job Description
- Provide speech-language pathology services in a school setting.
- Work schedule totals 22.5 billable hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in hand at time of application.
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification required and must be active by the start date.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required.
- Educational Services State Teaching Certificate or appropriate credential as required by Colorado regulations.
- Completion of Mandatory Reporter training specific to Colorado Educational Services.
- Fingerprinting through Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI/FBI) required; fingerprinting will be handled by the staffing agency.
- Colorado CAPS Release Authorization form must be completed prior to background checks.
- Temporary Educator Eligibility (TEE) or Special Services Provider (SSP) license may be required if applicable.
- Background checks including criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG within 1 year of start date and updated annually.
