Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Titusville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 18:30 - 07:00 (3 shifts per weekend: Friday to Sunday)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call: Yes, 6 shifts per month including Monday-Friday 22:00-07:00 and weekend coverage (midnight to midnight)
Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live more than 30 miles from facility)

Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience
- Inpatient and Emergency Room experience required
- IV starts preferred
- PACS experience preferred
- Contrast administration preferred
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Florida State License for Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT certification required; ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or RQI acceptable)
Scheduling & Attendance Policies
- Float not required
- Requests for time off (RTO) accommodated if not already approved; scheduling needs may override block scheduling requests
- 3 call outs result in termination
- Refusal to change shifts with less than 48 hours’ notice may forfeit guaranteed hours
- Refusal to change shifts with 1 week or more notice may result in termination
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Background check within 6 months including social security trace, education verification, nationwide and county checks, sex offender registry, and motor vehicle record if driving is required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
- Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start (Livescan electronic fingerprinting mandatory if no prior clearance)
- Education verification or transcript/diploma acceptable as placeholder
- Two professional references within last 2 years required
- Performance evaluation within last year required if previously worked through any agency
- Skills checklist required
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 6 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (or per history)
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity (or signed waivers) for:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (titer or series)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- 9-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (instant tests not accepted as final)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required
- COVID vaccination documentation required or facility-specific religious/medical exemption forms completed
- Fit mask testing completed onsite during first week
Orientation & Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific job description and orientation modules prior to start
- Completion of Non-Employee Orientation Quiz and Information Form (time sensitive)
- Review and sign confidentiality, tobacco-free, hospital orientation, clinical orientation, timecard expectation, and other facility-specific acknowledgment forms
- Review and sign agency minimum requirements for CT Techs
- Completion of medication/pharmacology competency exams and color blindness testing through facility learning system
- NIH Stroke Certification not required for this specialty
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM certifications not required for this role
Additional Notes
- Scrub color: Any color, no emblems
- Candidates must notify manager of latex allergies upon assignment start
- Facility uses Meditech for charting
- Candidates must be prepared for on-call shifts as specified
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
