Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele Float

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift Details

• Night shift (3 shifts per week)
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
• Self-scheduling and blocked scheduling allowed
• Patient/Nurse ratio typically 1:6, may flex up to 1:7 when necessary
• Preferred no return to office (RTO) for holidays; one holiday may be considered

Unit and Patient Population

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry float pool (floats to other MS/Tele units as needed)
• Adult patients
• Telemetry monitoring on the unit required
• Diagnoses include medical, surgical, and cardiac patients
• Primary IV skills required (RT covers specialty IV)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
