Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 13-week contract
- Open to floating to different campuses
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
Clinical Experience
- Level III or IV NICU
- Care for 23–24 week gestation infants
- No ECMO; all other NICU support is included
- CPAP/BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, vents
- Blood and blood product administration
- Cardioversion/defibrillation
- Cooling/warming blanket
- Feeding tubes
- PICC/central lines
- Syringe pumps
- High-risk deliveries
- Neonatal surgeries
Floating / Unit Notes
- Rarely floats due to high NICU need
- If floated, may go to another campus or to SCN/Pediatrics/NBN
- If floated to Pediatrics, care is limited to infants/newborns only
- Block scheduling may be available if preferred
