Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 4x10-hour shifts

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  Weekend Requirement: Every weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
  Floating: No floating required
  On-call: No on-call duties
  Scrub Color: Charcoal Grey
  Charting System: Centricity RIS-IC
  Scanners: Philips CT Scanner

Experience & Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Return to Office (RTO): Required upon submission
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
  • Sex offender registry, FACIS Level 1M, education verification, PA Statewide PATCH (for PA placements)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire
  • Fingerprinting required for PA placements (PA Department of Human Services fingerprinting within 12 months of start)
• Licensing & Certifications:

  • Primary source verification of state license
  • NURSYS verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable)
  • ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Certification as applicable
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 2 months of start
  • Fit test within 12 months prior to start (3M 1870+ model required)
  • Current Tdap vaccine or titer
  • Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days) or chest X-ray if positive
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; exemptions require mask use at work
• Testing & Competencies:

  • Pass/fail basic dysrhythmia exam during orientation (one attempt only)
  • Medication/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Skills checklist updated annually
• References: Two professional references within 2 years of start
• Work History Verification: Required (specific to NJ candidates, but good practice)

Additional Notes

• Facility-specific education modules (~6 hours) assigned and must be completed prior to orientation (not required for this specific location).
• Photo required for badge issuance.
• No PAPRs available at facility; fit test failure or refusal may result in contract cancellation.
• No floating or block scheduling flexibility.
• No on-call responsibilities.

This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology, holding ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications, and who are comfortable working weekends and a 4x10 schedule. First-time travel healthcare workers are welcome.
