Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job

Overview

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Specialty: Registered Nurse
Setting: Cardiovascular operating room
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
Hours per week: 40
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Call requirement: Twice a week and every third weekend
Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of 3 holidays, or 1 of 2 / 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements
Floating: Must be able to float to general OR
Scrubs: Provided
Charting: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Jersey
CVOR experience with 1.5 years of experience
CVOR experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Ability to circulate in the operating room
Scrub experience in the operating room

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Key Responsibilities

Circulate in the OR
Scrub when needed
Handle adult open heart and general cases
Float to general OR

Submission Notes

Submit work history, scrub and circulate skills checklist
Denote all requested time off at submission
RTO submitted after offer will not be accepted
