Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Long Beach, California
• Start date: ASAP
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30
• 13-week contract
• Backfill opening
• Local candidates are allowed at the local rate if within 50 miles of the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• ED - Emergency Department (2.5 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
• Experience in a Large Hospital setting
• Weekend availability, per department needs
• RN license verification
• 2 professional references

• Medication Calculation Test
• Competency exam
• Color blind testing
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• N95 fit mask within 1 year of start
• Tdap within the last 10 years
• Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire
• Hepatitis B surface antibody titer
• Drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or documentation for the 2026-27 season
• Background check
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification
• Pass/fail testing acknowledgement
• Emergency contact form
• Government-issued photo ID

Preferred

• Large volume ER experience over 90,000 annual visits
• COVID vaccination record

• Floating is not required
• On-call is not required
