Overview

Travel/Contract role in Winston Salem, North Carolina
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–7:15
36 hours per week
Unit has 39 rooms and 39 beds
Patient population includes orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patients
Fast-paced unit with ortho and spine patients requiring strong pain management focus

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of orthopedic experience
Orthopedics experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Charge nurse experience
Level I trauma experience

Scheduling and Float

Every other weekend required
May float to any other med surg unit within the facility based on staffing needs and census
RTO after booking is not allowed
No holiday RTO allowed

Additional Notes

Local candidates are accepted
Expected patient ratio is 5–6:1, with flexibility up to 7:1 in extreme cases
Unit will accept 13 weeks or longer, through 2/27 end date
