Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Washington, DC
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
40 hours per week
Contract length: 14 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in District of Columbia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Case Management (2 years of experience)
Case Management experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Nurse Navigator experience

Preferred Experience

Nurse navigator or nurse coordinator experience
Oncology experience

Key Clinical Skills

Port and central line care
Starting IVs
Telephone triage
Chart preparation
Pharmacy calls
Care for primarily cancer patients
Radiation therapy-related nursing care, including education, skincare/wound care, assessment of radiation toxicity, and social needs

Common Patient Care Areas

Acute tumor lysis syndrome
