Assignment Details

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
Weekly hours: 36
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Required within scope to like units
Local candidates: Not accepted within 50 miles of the main campus
On-call: Not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Work Environment

Ratios: 1:2-3
First-time travelers: Preferred not accepted, but may be considered by the manager based on experience
Block scheduling: Open to accommodation at manager discretion

Additional Notes

Return to traveler status requires 1 year away
Maximum of 2 contracts, with only 1 extension allowed; then 6 months away before returning
Interview availability must be provided with submission
Epic is used for charting
