Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in San Mateo, California
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotation as needed
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized breast procedures
- Produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
- Work independently using sound judgment and clinical skills
- Support patient assessment, monitoring, and communication
- Follow local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures
- May orient other staff to the department
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
- Mammography Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Additional Notes
- Background check and other pre-start screening/documentation requirements apply
- Photo for badge is required
- Physical exam, fit test, TB screening, drug screen, and seasonal flu documentation are required before start, with some items needing renewal during assignment
