Operating Room RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Jacksonville, Texas
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:30–15:00
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Clinical Setting

• Operating Room
• Cases include General, Ortho, OB/GYN, GI, Colorectal, ENT, and Pain
• Call is split between 3 RNs, averaging 10 shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Operating Room experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
• Drivers License/State ID
• E-Verify
• 7-year background check
• Education verification
• NURSYS verification
• State license verification
• Clear headshot for badge
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 1 year of start
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
• TB questionnaire within 90 days of start for positive results
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Complete application/resume
• Unit-specific skills checklist
• 7-year work history verification

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC, MAB, NIH Stroke Certification, and CPI as applicable

• Travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties are not contracted
