MS/Tele Float RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN assignment in Olympia, Washington.
• Day shift: 4x12, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Floating is part of the role to meet staffing needs across the institution.
• Patient population may include ER boarded patients, telemetry, and med surg.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit acuity.
• Charge responsibilities may be included on two very small units where the sole RN functions as the Charge Nurse.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
• 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
• Experience in Charge roles.
• Experience in the US; Canadian experience alone will not qualify.
• ACLS.
• BLS.
• NURSYS verification for RNs.
• 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment history.
• Work history verification is required if submitting an exception request in lieu of meeting reference requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge experience is ideal.
• Cardiac step down experience is ideal.

Facility Details

• Short Term Acute Care hospital.
• 325 staffed beds.
• Charting system: EPIC.
