Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Overview

• 13-week temp assignment in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
• Days shift
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Orientation dates listed: 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16
• The contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• EMR: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
• 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
• Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Driver's License
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Experienced and proficient in Endovascular
• Experience in thrombolytics
• Iowa Radiology license
• RCIS/CCI or ARRT/The American Registry of Radiology Technologists
• Professional reference/reference check from within the last 24 months

Additional Notes

• Will consider licensing candidates; issuance timeline varies if the Iowa Radiology license is not active
• Past employees of UPH in FTE or PRN float pool roles cannot work travel in another market for 12 months
• If the worker previously traveled at UPH as a traveler, the separation policy does not apply
