Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Nights
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work night shifts, 12 hours per day.
- Typical workweek: 36-40 hours; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Wisconsin.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application.
- License verification and copy of required certifications.
- Work history/resume and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility (exceptions apply with rate adjustment).
Orientation
- Orientation sessions available on multiple dates from March through December 2026.
Additional Information
- OT/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
- Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with a minimum 2-hour call back.
- On-call pay: $9/hr
- Charge/Preceptor pay: $6/hr
- Can support 36 or 48-hour workweeks with overtime billing after those thresholds.
This position is ideal for experienced travel nurses with prior travel assignments who are seeking a night shift role in Labor & Delivery in Wisconsin.
