Sonographer (Cardiovascular & Vascular) – Temp Position

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical sonography services as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform cardiovascular and vascular sonography with a full vascular skill set including renal, pre-op, pain mapping, and other detailed vascular processes.
• Expected to complete approximately 7-8 scans per day.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Required to work 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.

Work Schedule & Orientation

• Typical workweek: 36-40 hours; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation dates provided prior to assignment start.
• Night and weekend call-back and on-call opportunities with additional compensation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiovascular & Vascular Sonographer experience.
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract.
• Active Iowa license at time of submission.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certifications.
• Certification from ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiovascular & Vascular Sonography discipline.
• Professional references from within the last 24 months preferred.
