MRI Technologist (Night Shift) - Pittsfield, MA

Job Description

• Work with GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment.
• Approximately 9 patients per shift.
• Always work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech/Traveler; no solo shifts.
• After midnight coverage is on call.
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed.
• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable.
• Holiday and overtime multipliers apply.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.
• Requests for time off must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of time off allowed during the assignment.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) experience.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI Certification.
• Experience with GE MRI equipment (required).
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must provide:

  • Work history.
  • Skills checklist for MRI current within 1 year.
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.

Summary

This is a temporary MRI Technologist position on the night shift requiring at least 2 years of MRI experience, ARRT MRI certification, and willingness to work weekends, evenings, and call shifts. Candidates must be able to work collaboratively and follow strict scheduling and time-off policies. Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
