Job Opportunity: Technologist - Nuclear Medicine
Location
- Mt. Clemens, Michigan
- Position requires floating between two office locations within the area.
Employment Type
- Temporary contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Day shift
- 8 hours per day
Job Description
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) for diagnostic imaging or treatment.
- Operate specialized imaging equipment to visualize organ and tissue function.
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure radiation safety for both patients and staff.
- Maintain and document equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with physicians to assist in diagnosis and patient care.
- Work settings include hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist
