Vascular Access Nurse

Location

Ithaca, New York

Contract

13 weeks
Long-term assignment

Schedule

Weekday shifts only
10- or 12-hour shifts
Monday through Friday
07:00 - 19:30

Role Summary

Provides direct support to hospital-based departments during weekday operating hours
Places difficult peripheral IVs, midline catheters, and PICC lines

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Vascular Access experience
Experience with ultrasound-guided peripheral intravenous catheter (PIV) placement
Experience with midline catheter placement
PICC (1 year of experience)
PICC experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License
