Vascular Access Nurse
Location
- Ithaca, New York
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Long-term assignment
Schedule
- Weekday shifts only
- 10- or 12-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday
- 07:00 - 19:30
Role Summary
- Provides direct support to hospital-based departments during weekday operating hours
- Places difficult peripheral IVs, midline catheters, and PICC lines
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Vascular Access experience
- Experience with ultrasound-guided peripheral intravenous catheter (PIV) placement
- Experience with midline catheter placement
- PICC (1 year of experience)
- PICC experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Driver's License
