Grand Junction, Colorado

Schedule

Night shift, 12 hours
36 hours per week
Weekends: Yes
May be required to float to other departments based on business need
May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Job Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions
Provide health teaching and counseling
Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
