Registered Nurse – Cardiac Surgical ICU Contract

Location

New York, New York

Contract Details

Contract length: 9 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule includes weekends; every other weekend is required
Hours per week: 34.5

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

EPIC experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Associate degree in nursing may be considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program

Role Overview

Provides safe, competent nursing care to assigned patients
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and patient management
Supports patient education, quality improvement, safety, and documentation
May perform charge nurse duties as assigned
