Physical Therapist - Travel Position

Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel - Clinical Allied Health
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide patient evaluation, establish plans of care and treatment programs.
Deliver therapeutic interventions and patient/family education.
Document interventions and handle billing appropriately.
Support Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation.
Participate in orientation of new staff and serve as a clinical instructor for students.
Exercise independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
No weekend shifts required
40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in acute care within a large academic medical setting.
Board Certification as a Specialist in an area relevant to acute care.
Previous successful clinical affiliation with the employer (preferred but not required).
Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
Home health experience is a plus.

Additional Information

Orientation will be held onsite in Morristown, NJ.
Support provided for the Morris County region.
